I am a Painting Machine

While Chris was screwing in corner mold and beginning to re-construct the archway, I was in charge of painting the guest bathroom.  The color ended up fairly similar to the existing color, but because the prior tenants had hung at least seven towel rods in the bathroom using wall anchors, filling the holes and repainting the bathroom became a necessity.  I am in love with the way it turned out!  You’ll also notice the new light fixture—we had originally installed in our rental, and brought it over when we moved out of the rental.

A before and after for your viewing pleasure!

Painting machine…you come by it naturally. I remember the time when your Daddy was off on a business trip for a couple of days. I moved all the bedroom furniture to the middle of the room, used tinted Kilz to cover the “builders brown,” then painted the walls, then faux sponged them. While the Kilz dried in the Master, I put a coat in the Master bath vanity, then back to the master….anyway three days later, three rooms painted and all put back together before Daddy got home!
