Taking the Inside Out

January 2, 2010

Ahh…a concrete oasis!!!  Every homeowner’s dream.  Wait!!!  You mean that you don’t want a concrete backyard?  Hmmm…neither did we.

But the (ghetto) outdoor kitchen is SWEET!  Okay, again, not as sweet as our master suite, but we’re envisioning a wonderful outdoor living space that includes some patio furniture (think couches!) and a dining area (table for more than 2?).

In the meantime, we are just stoked that we were able to remove the sides of our grill so that it fit into the open space in the outdoor kitchen.

Cool beans! I hear you have lots of yummy steak to cook on that grill… Don’t forget the funky patio lights. 🙂

Hey guys this looks like a great beginning to a really comfortable outdoor space. Amazing what a little work and creativity can do with a great space like this.

Katie, I love this! It is sooo fun to read about all your home adventures! Keep writing it all down! Isn’t it amazing to see how far you and Chris have come…from easy mac in a studio apartment to steaks in your own home!!! Love you, can’t wait to see it in person!
