Practical Problem-Spice Solution

March 5, 2010

It’s not glamorous, but it was definitely a needed solution.  Because of the depth of our cabinets, it was difficult to reach the spices in the cabinet, and to read the labels.

I’ve employed this solution previously in my medicine cabinet, and decided that Expand-A-Shelf was the way to go.  At about $9.99, it solves the problem on the cheap.

And, I have to say, we are once again thrilled with the results.  The drive to the Container Store actually took longer than setting all the spices up on the shelf.  But take a look at how handy and organized it is:

Do you have a handy trick for keeping things organized in your cabinets?  Since our cabinets also double as pantry space, I’d love to hear them…

I too love the expand a shelf, but I wish there were a way to not have the bottles/jars tilting when they rest on the seam!

Very nice and organized solution. I have employed this in my spice cabinet too and it works great!

Can’t wait to see your post on the palm trees that went in this weekend.
